The share – POWR

The share, power- x comp, (Powr) can be very dangerous and risky, but can also be very profitable at the same time.

If you are a regular stock market player you should notice that POWR is a share, which is usually around the 400 or 500. This share is what you would call a “high risk share.” It could crash at any moment.

The particular lucrative thing about this share is the dramatic fluctuation in price. We can take advantage of this fluctuation. For example the starting price of POWR could hypnotically be 430. Let’s say, you purchase this share at this price. Since POWR is unpredictable your share value could suddenly increase to 450, in a matter of hours. This would earn you 20,000 neopoints if you purchased the daily maximum available amount.

However, this risk taking could be very damaging to your bank account. You could end up losing a big chunk of your hard earned savings. I must stress this share is a short term investment. And you should not be kept for long periods. Ideally you should sell this share as soon as the price increases. This should only take a few days, if not hours.

You should never buy this share when the price is over 550nps. You have virtually on or very little change of getting a return, unless you are very lucky.

So, what can be learned from this article? Well, basically POWR is a risky share; the price can increase and decrease very dramatically. If you have plenty of neopoints to spare you could buy this share and make a healthy profit, but be careful not to buy this share when the value is over 550nps. You would risk losing your neopoints or would have to wait a very long time to get a return from your investment.

The money tree

The money tree is a place where you can either donate items/neopoints or where you can cheekily pickup the items from other peoples donations.

If you have many useless items in your inventory it’s always a good idea to donate them to the donation tree. Since, you are only allowed fifty items in your inventory at any one time. You might as well donate the items you don’t need. However, if you don’t want anyone else to receive your items you can select the discard option from the drop down menu. This will remove the items from your inventory completely.

The benefits of donating are of course getting rid of worthless items, but you can also capitalise on other peoples donations by selling the items you pickup. Although don’t expect to make lots of neopoints because the many items people donate are fairly valueless, unless your very greedy and pickup millions of items. The other option is picking up donated neopoints from other generous users.

If you are considering picking up items or neopoints from the donation tree. You better be very quick because there are millions of users on neopets, making it increasing difficult. Your most likely get a message saying you are too slow.

My main tip would be to refresh the page rapidly using the F5 button. And quickly select the items you want. This would increase your chance of receiving an item because you get the latest donated items on the page. Another tip is picking up items at particular times of the day when least people are using the website. But this is hard to judge because of the amount of people using the website. You would have to experiment with various times of the day to figure this one out.

  • Buy the maximum amount of shares which is 1000, every day.
  • Never sell shares if the prices of your share decrease in value. The value of the share will eventually increase in value over time.
  • Never buy shares which are priced over 500np. They have a greater risk of crashing.
  • Sell your shares when they reach the 25-35nps mark. You can sell your shares at an even higher price if you wish, but it may take a very long time.

Tips for increasing np earnings

Firstly open bank account at the Neopian bank and store any excess neopoints in your bank account. As the more neopoints you have in the bank the most interest you gain everyday. Remember to change your account type when it reaches certain levels. This is because more interest is rewarded for higher level of neopoints.

Collect your daily items which can be found here. Sometimes you may get rewarded with large amounts of nepoints. And the junk that you don’t want from your daily items can easily be sold in your shop.

Check your shops till someone may have purchased many of items. Every time someone purchases an item from your shop the neopoints from the transaction get store in your shop till. You need to withdraw the neopoints from the till before you can use them.

Buy items for a low price and sell for a high price. You use the shop wizard to search for lower priced items and sell them for a slightly higher price. This method is a little immoral, but at least it increases your neopoints. If you have a premium account this method is particularly effective as it gives you the lowest possible price from all the shops.

Playing games is probably the easiest and fun way to increase your earnings. For about ten minutes of game playing you could earn a few thousand neopoints. And lots more, if you play for hours.
